J. most recently appeared in Fuddy Meers (MTC) for which she recieved an Outer Critics Nomination for Best Actress. Previously J. appeared in Douglas Carter Beane's As Bees in Honey Drown for which she won an Obie and was nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards.
On Broadway she was seen in Night Must Fall, Our Country's Good (Tony nomination - Best Featured Actress), Lend Me a Tenor (Outer Critics Award-Best Ensemble), The Real Inspector Hound, The Play's the Thing, Crimes of The Heart, and Wild Honey.
Off-Broadway credits include Tartuffe (in Central Park, directed by Mark Brokaw),The Memory of Water (MTC), The Naked Truth (Drama Desk nomination), Blue Window (MTC), Caryl Churchill's Owners and Traps (in rep), Desdemona, and On the Bum.
Film credits include That Night, Harriet the Spy, Pyrite (Lifetime Film Channel), The Rage: Carrie II, In and Out, Jeffrey, Arresting Gena, Mighty Aphrodite, and the recently released You Can Count on Me (written and directed by her husband, Kenny Lonergan).
Television credits include Ramona in The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, a guest appearance on Law & Order, and the upcoming Law & Order: Criminal Intent. J. is a founding member of Drama Dept.
